Munster is a town in North Township, Lake County Indiana part of the Chicago metro area about 30 miles southeast of downtown Chicago. It borders Hammond to the north, Highland to the east, Dyer and Schererville to the south, and Lansing and Lynnwood directly to the west. It's home to about 24,000 residents.

The School Town of Munster is the public school system and there are five schools all recognized as Indiana Blue Ribbon schools and been awarded five-star ratings. This alone is one of the main reasons many families choose Munster as their new home. There are two private schools, a high school, a middle school, and three elementary schools.
Munster features 10 parks, three lakes, a nine-hole golf course, 11 miles of biking and hiking paths, and a public art and sculpture program.
