Lake Hills is a beautiful private community in St. John Indiana completely surrounding Golf Lake between 85th Ave. and W. 93rd Ave., just east of Wicker Avenue or Highway 41. There are three entrances, two on 85th Ave. and one on Deodor Street. Home prices range from $250,000 for lots up to $1 million for extensive estates on the lake. The average home price is about $500,000. Homes were built from 2006 up to today, and you'll likely find a wide range of styles and designs from simple two-story single-family homes to larger exclusive estates with modern and sophisticated architecture. Lots can also be up to around half an acre.

Lake Hills Subdivision features nearly 500 homesites nestled in amongst the lakes, waterways, and trails. Residents are just minutes from downtown St. John and 24 miles from Chicago. There are several amenities in Lake Hills for residents and their guests including an amphitheater and park right on Golf Lake, playgrounds,, walking trails and fishing. Golf Lake is a 34 acre lake with a fishing pier.

Lake Hills Schools

Residents of Lake Hills are part of the Lake Central School Corporation and school-age children are signed to the Kolling elementary school, the Clark middle school, and the Lake Central high school. The schools receive top scores from great schools.org from parents and students alike. The elementary school is less than a mile away and the middle school and high school are just over a mile. The elementary school has a 20 to 1 student to teacher ratio, and his been ranked proficient in both math and reading academics.

Lake Hills is located between St. John and Schererville with easy access to Highway 41 and Highway 231 over two Crown Point or north to Hammond and Lake Michigan. Just a minute or two west on Wicker Avenue or Highway 41, is shops, amenities and services such as Starbucks, Malt Brothers Brewing, restaurants, gas stations, markets, banks, churches, and parks. Residents are no more than about 5 to 10 minutes for most services and amenities.
