White Hawk Country Club is a premier country club located in Northwest Indiana, Crown Point, Indiana. Crown Point is a sweet small town with small-town amenities. Surrounding the borders of Crown Point is Merrillville to the north, Winfield to the east, Cedar Lake to the southwest, St. John to the west and Schererville to the northwest. Currently, the only major transportation that Crown Point offers is bus service or Amtrak. However, the local YMCA is nearby as well as the Crown Point Square, Lake County Fairgrounds, 19 well-maintained parks with Sportsplex, skatepark and seasonally an ice rink. White Hawk Country Club also has a restaurant on site that serves both residents and the general public. River Rock Restaurant offers meals from a hamburger made with grass-fed beef to fresh seafood.
White Hawk Country Club schools are in the Crown Point Community School Corporation, which offers outstanding educational opportunities for this community. Jerry Ross Elementary School and Lake Street Elementary School were both given a stellar rating of 10/10 according to Greatschools.org and following close behind with a 9/10 rating is Crown Point High School and Timothy Ball Elementary School. Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School and Solon Robinson Elementary School received a rating of 8/10 and Colonel John Wheeler Middle School and Robert Taft Middle School were given a rating of 7/10. All of these schools were given an above-average rating. The elementary schools and middle schools have an average of 15 students to one teacher; which is below the state average of 15 to 1. Both high schools have an average of 24 students to 1 teacher.
